For Christmas my Mom gave me a book called GOOD MEWS…INSPURRRATIONAL STORIES FOR CAT LOVERS. Despite it being right next to my special "back chair", I haven't really read it all that much. Then today I opened it up to a page that had this prayer and verse:
Thank you, Father, for responding to my needs and not reacting to my expediency. Thank you for sticking to Your plan in spite of my doubts and protests. Your timing is always perfect. Amen.

I've been through a lot, wondering why God hasn't healed my back. It would take just one nod, one word from Him, and I would be healed. And now we have to quickly find a house and move, when some days it is hard for me to get out of bed (or my chair). But I know that it is all in God's control. If for some reason He doesn't snap His fingers and make my prayers come to be, it is for my own good: He has something much better for me.
Amen again.
